Wanuskewin Gift Shop

- Soapstone Bear Carving
Welcome to Wanuskewin Heritage Park Gift Shop the place to shop for authentic First Nation traditional handmade artworks.
We opened our doors in June 1992 promoting products and items made by First Nations artisans.
Today, we now showcase 900 square feet of amazing handmade items such as earrings made from horn or beautifully hand-beaded moss bags or moccasins, incredible stone carvings, CDs and books all produced by artisans from tribal communities throughout Saskatchewan and across Canada.
Wanuskewin Gift Shop helps artisans make a living and sustain the First Nations artists industry. The items are work of master artisans with skills attained by tradition and age old practices. It is our endeavor to globalize

Genuine Ladies Moose Wrap Arounds
traditional First Nations works.
First Nations artworks are the cultural heritage of our country and buying of traditional genuine art through Wanuskewin Gift Shop will encourage talented and skilled rural artists in sustaining their
livelihood.
There are many imitations of First Nations artwork out there, and it can be hard to tell the wheat from the chaff. So if you’re looking for traditional First Nation artworks that were actually made by First Nations people, either because it’s important to you to have the real thing or because you want to support native people with your purchase, you have come to the right place.
If you are a traditional First Nations artisan please contact us. We would love to see your work.
