Facility Rentals
Wanuskewin Heritage Park features five meeting rooms totaling almost 4,000 square feet. Three have movable walls accommodating groups up to 150 people. Four of the five rooms have a breathtaking view of the valley and the South Saskatchewan River.
All of our room rentals include park entry fees and access to our 360 acres of scenic trails, interpretive sites, archeological digs, fauna and flora, two galleries and daily cultural programming.
Enrich your meeting or workshop with our customized cross-cultural programs and activities, including traditional dance presentations, traditional storytelling, speakers and elders. Add unique experiences such as :
- cooking bannock over a fire
- taking traditional dance lessons
- team building exercises such as Tipi Raising or Double Ball
- holding corporate meetings in tipis
- learning about traditional medicine and spirituality from elders
- staying overnight in a Tipi
We also offer pre or post-conference activities and tour programs for spouses and children.

Awi Room (meaning “Sun) features the ever changing view, with floor to ceiling windows, that is unsurpassed and lends its majesty and serenity that is truly unique to Wanuskewin. (Capacity – 36 people based on 8 round table seating)
Paskwaw Room (meaning “Prairie”) features one wall of windows with a spectacular view of the Opimihaw Creek where for over 6,000 years Northern Plains Indians came to hunt bison, gather food and herbs, and escape the winter winds. (Capacity - 40 people based on 8 round table seating)
South Room features two walls of windows with a breathtaking view that overlooks the valley and the South Saskatchewan River where people who lived here for thousands of years shared a delicate balance with plant and animal, earth and sky. (Capacity – 50 people based on 8 round table seating)
Multi-Purpose Room features hardwood floors with floor to ceiling windows that run the whole east wall overlooking high bluffs falling to green meadows, stands of willow, unexpected river vistas and hidden coulees in a cape of windswept prairie. (Capacity - 80 people based on 8 round table seating)
Classroom features two skylights providing an abundance of natural light and the pleasure of enjoying all the amenities the park has to offer. (Capacity – 40 people based on 8 round table seating)
Boardroom is the ideal place to hold that intimate corporate meeting offsite. The large hardwood table and black reclining chairs offers that corporate business office but with the opportunity to partake in unique food and beverages while enjoying the serenity of this beautiful venue. (Capacity – 10 people)
Outdoor Amphitheatre has multi-tiered seating for up to 350 people and is highly suited for outdoor gatherings of various sizes. The circular layout gives your event the intimacy of a room and offers the open sky as your ceiling. (Capacity – up to 350 people)
Awi-Paskwaw Room is the combination of the Awi Room (meaning “Sun”) that features the ever changing view, with floor to ceiling windows, and the Paskwaw Room (meaning “Prairie”) with one wall of windows with a spectacular view of Opimihaw Creek. (Capacity - 85 people based on 8 round table seating)
Awi-Paskwaw-South Room is the combination of the Awi Room (meaning “Sun”) that features the ever changing view, with floor to ceiling windows, the Paskwaw Room (meaning “Prairie”) with one wall of windows with a spectacular view of Opimihaw Creek and the South Room with two walls of windows overlooking the valley to the South Saskatchewan River. (Capacity – 150 people based on 8 round table seating)
Paskwaw-South Room is the combination of the Paskwaw Room (meaning “Prairie”) with one wall of windows with a spectacular view of Opimihaw Creek and the South Room with two walls of windows overlooking the valley to the South Saskatchewan River. (Capacity – 90 people based on 8 round table seating)
