Become a Member

The nomadic people who gathered at the site of Wanuskewin came seeking peace of mind, and to live in harmony with the land and one another. When you become a member of our Circle of Friends you join with others who desire to learn through nature and history, and from one another. By becoming a member you help fulfill our mandate “To create awareness, sensitivity and knowledge of Northern and Plains Aboriginal culture to both First Nations and non-First Nations people.”

As a member of our Circle of Friends your are eligible for several benefits, including unlimited general admission to Wanuskewin Heritage Park. This includes access to the visitor centre art gallery, gift shop, and restaurant. Membership also gives you access to the hiking trails, and cultural and archaeological sites that make up Wanuskewin Heritage Park.

The Wanuskewin "Circle of Friend" membership categories are:

Individual Membership: $30/year

  • Unlimited general admission (except special events)
  • Invitation to special events
  • Participate as an event or regular volunteer
  • Subscription to Wanuskewin’s newsletter
  • Complimentary admission for friend or family
  • 10% discount in the Wanuskewin Gift Shop & Restaurant

Seniors Membership: $25.00/year

  • All "Individual Membership" benefits

Student Membership: $15.00/year

  • All “Individual Membership” benefits

Family Membership: $50.00/year

  • All “Individual Membership” benefits
  • Unlimited admission for your family (max. 2 adults, 4 children under 16)
  • Two additional complimentary admissions for friends or family

Donor Membership: $100.00 +/year

  • All "Family Membership" benefits
  • Charitable tax receipt for maximum allowable amount

Subscription & Renewal

If you are interested in becoming part of the “Circle of Friends” at Wanuskewin Heritage Park please print off and fill in the membership form and send it to us. To renew your current membership please print off and fill in the membership form and mail back to us.
